Student Protests Blocked Plovdiv

A spontaneous revolt grew up in a mass protest for a longer winter holidays. Over 3 000 students crossed the town to ask for the retirement of the Education minister Sergey Ignatov. The New Year`s fests finish on 3rd January and then all students must be in the classroom. The teenagers walked 15 kilometers as they crossed from school to school for gathering followers. A few garbage bins fell down as a victim and the traffic along Ruski Boulevard was blocked for a while. The main street was flooded by torn notebooks.
