The Night - a Dream or Reality

There is no such art event that can bring out so many people on the streets and gather them in exhibitions, concerts, book performancies or art studios as the Night of museums and galleries in Plovdiv. 30 000 people joined the sixth edition of the forum that was organized by the foundation "Open Arts". There were criticisms that this event had no development, that it was hackneyed and the gallery people didn`t do their best and didn`t put in fantasy as former times to vary the activities. Despite this, a fact was that thousands of Plovdiv people became a part of it and this fact proved that this event should exhist. Body art, open painting, fire juggling, Pyjamas party, instalation from matress bed-springs, 15-metres bridge made from children paintings paper, dozen of concerts and photo-exhibitions, all these things put the people in other reality and brought them out from the duty rythm of the boring workday.
