The 22-nd Contingent Was Sent
[05/01/2012]
The 22-nd contingent for participating in the International Forces operation was sent with water blessing on a festive ceremony in front of the Plovdiv Military Club. The contingent contains 212 people such as: staff officers, medical team and 6-th company for action in the defence zone of the Airport. 50 per cent of the military men have already taken part in missions abroad, and for others this is a first trial. Parents, wives and children filled the Main Square to say "Good bye" with the boys, hoping to see them alive and well after 6 months. There are also five women among the rangers. They all have passed through training, including one in Germany for explosive devices control.
